Second, once you've selected a country, you must decide
who will facilitate your adoption. While Famlink does not match
parents to children, we are very well connected to agencies
across the nation that do. We can recommend several agencies
so you can select one that is just
right for you. Just call or email us, and we will help you
find a reputable agency with a proven track record to assist
you in your adoption.
Once you've selected an adoption agency, you will need a "home
study" (or "adoption assessment") to be completed
as part of your paperwork for that agency. If you decide to
use an adoption agency outside of Michigan, you will need to
find a licensed Michigan agency that will perform your home
study. That is where we come in. We specialize in providing
home studies for Michigan residents using the services of an
out-of-state adoption placing agency. We pride ourselves in
being very responsive, very supporting, and very effective
in completing home studies. (After all, we have been there
and know how important it is to you and your waiting child
to get this done as soon as we can!) So once you've selected
